LinkedIn uses different image dimensions for a Company Page cover and an article cover photo. They are not interchangeable canvases.

LinkedIn says Page cover images can be adjusted or cropped across devices and screen sizes. Keep important text and visual details away from the edges, especially the lower-right area, and preview the design at different sizes.
